Couple of goals this time…
Well that was better…
We had Tabulam (3 units ew) down as a bit of a plodder, he hadn’t shown much this prep but presented as a $4 co-fav yesterday, so assumed someone knew something. Despite a betting drift, once he came round that final bend, there was never gonna be another winner as the big grey strode imperiously to the front to power away for an easy win in the end, paying a very nice $7.20/ $2.40, and contributing to a $2K plus trifecta with a couple of roughies filling the places.
We know Wanjiru (5 units ew) possesses a big finish, and we spruiked him as the value runner at $16 yesterday. He didn’t disappoint us as he flew home from dead last to run a long neck second, paying $4 the place.
We’ve got three from the book today, all very promising, with key jockey bookings a feature. Bang ‘em in a EW trixie, confidence is high, let’s fill those wallets ahead of the weekend!!

Noted in April with a good second, she finally fulfilled promise here a month back. Needs to be ridden close to the speed, there’s been a couple of runs where she’s been too far back, but the booking in Tina C up top here gives us a lot of confidence that she’ll bounce back into the winners circle today. Great T&D stats, she’ll be hard to beat today as a $9 shot, get on early!

Debuted here on the synth three weeks ago, drawn in the carpark and never featured to run next to last. First two runs this prep were a close-up third and fourth, and wouldn’t you know it, Tina’s booked for this one too, which propels him firmly into consideration in this as a $10 and some early support on the TAB. Again, get on early, and anchor these two in your late qadi…

RED HAWK

Bolted in by 6 lengths on debut almost two years ago, but hasn’t replicated that since with a lot of breaks in the paddock. Back after 4 months off, he ran second in a trial, last month then fronted up as fav here four weeks ago and finished like a train from the back to just miss, and noted as next-time. Warmed up for this with an impressive trial win at Traralgon nine days ago and gets J Mott up top. $4.00/$1.80 on offer, get onboard!
