We’re on a roll!!
We’re on a bit of a roll at the mo, two very good wins yesterday, plus a second and a fourth…
We spruiked up Cool Lad (5 units ew) as busting to win another, and the young apprentice timed her run to perfection in a blanket finish to get up at $5.90/$1.60.
And our bet of the day Stanislaus (10 unit win) was a wonder to behold. We knew he’d get back, but that the jump to 1100m would assist. An amazing ride by the superb JMac, who had him parked at the back all the way, but he produced him late to get up by a long neck as the $2.10 fav, a very welcome win that anchored our qadi punt, along with Cool Lad in the previous…
More Than Words (5 units ew) was up against a hotpot fav who was backed as if unbeatable, which he was, but MTW sprinted home nicely under Tina C for second at $1.60, and earn a next-time tag from us.
The old girl Abb Roy tried to lead all the way again in run #136 of her career, but just faded to fourth.
