Back with a bang!!
Our three was reduced to two with the late abandonment of Pakenham, leaving Turbeau without a run and an EW Trixie of just two horses.
However, our two at Geraldton came to the party, with Mombasa (5 units ew) running third at $1.80, followed by Desert Petard (5 units ew) getting up after a promising run two back, winning at $8.20/$2.50 and providing nice returns from our Trixie investments!

Mate of mine owns half a fetlock of this colt who won at odds on debut, followed by a close fourth next up. Stable is confident of a good showing today, he goes round at the $8.50 mark, EW for sure…

TY bolted in impressively exactly a year ago today at Kembla,
and has run well since in better races. Resumed from a 5 month spell in August at the Valley well-supported to run a close fifth before another 5 month spell and resumed 14 days ago after a couple of decent trials last month. Considering his long breaks, he went very well for second, earning a next-time status, and with the apprentice sticking for the Waterbott team, we’re firmly in his corner as $3.40 fav, even up in grade!
Having said that, our other two figure well in the betting, Amati steaming home at odds 13 days ago for second and Sweysive just failing to hang on 9 days ago when well-supported.

RAGING RUSH

On-pacer this time in, has won his only start here and has been close up both runs this prep. He’ll be thereabouts, easy EW bet at $6.

Back for a six month break and has won a trial for this under the apprentice. Someone knows something, he did little last prep but has changed stables and presents here as the $1.85 fav. Follow the money…
