Four from seven…
Our seven tips produced two seconds, a third and fourth.
Bourbon Road produced another nice finish to build on his last race to run a tidy second at $2.10, definitely a next-timer… Bold Response was right on pace as usual and ran out of puff to finish fourth, he’ll surely win over a shorter distance.
We thought Peace Treaty might need the run, and proved the case, but he was close up in third as is another to watch next time up.
Brazen Breccia looked the winner for a long time down the straight after his usual on-pace performance after being backed in, paying $1.95 for the place.
Nine from the book on TGIF, including a runner in the UK overnight…
TGIF nine…
Luxuriant
Awapuni Synthetic R4
Awful here a month ago over the 1400m, never got into it, especially after her previous four runs. Billy Pinn jumps on, worth another chance back to the 1200m. $3.10 in a small field.
BET: 6 unit win
Ardee Boy
Awapuni Synthetic R7
Has been inconsistent since his debut win but gets winning jockey back onboard and has trialled well recently under that rider. Rates a chance in this as $4.00 second fav.

Sir Boo
Ipswich R5
Backmarker who just got too far back 13 days ago but steamed home as usual and did well to get within 1.7 lengths of the winner. Pushes out to the 1700m for the first time, jockey is 4:2-1, fancy him to feature here late at $8.50.
BET: 4 units ew
Rose Noir
Ipswich R6
Flopped out the stalls and steamed home a month back, earning a next-time flag, and the push out to 1350m looks ideal for our insider tip here. $2.80 fav, think she wins this…
BET: 10 unit win
Cool Encounter
Ipswich R7
Better run 21 days ago with a gritty finish for second at this T&D, where he has decent stats. Good EW punt at $10.

Devine Miss
Canberra R6
Resumed from a 293 day spell in July with a nice finish into third at Canberra and dropped back to the BM64 16 days ago when we fancied her chances. Ran on into fifth and will be fitter, good T&Ds and a chance at $12. Would like to see here jump a bit better, because she does have a very good finish in her armoury.

Rule Of Time, Handshake
Geelong R9
ROT noted in September when she cruised home to break maiden status at Benalla then ran a nice second straight up to the BM64 grade. Form is a bit hit and miss, but she dropped back to the mile here a month ago and ran home with some style from dead last to get up for us at $9. Pushes out another 150m, which should obviously suit, and Luke Currie hops on, chance to back up that win at $9.
Handshake resumed from a 264 day spell three weeks ago at Swan Hill, back to the mile but finished on OK, will take benefit from that and will be better over further. $51 on offer here…

Asfoora
York R4
Going well in the UK with a first and a second, can re-reverse the last result with Big Evs, $3 fav in this.
BET: 10 unit win
