Easiest grade this prep after a huge 591 day absence, and back in distance for this. Bit of a punt but EW at $26 if he can re-discover his early form.

Form this prep doesn’t inspire, but he’s switched stables and gets N Heywood up top. Capable of leading and drops back hugely to the 1000m here, keep safe at $41…

Spirit Of Pluto
Tamworth R7
Returned 24 days ago from a 254 day break, prior to which he’d produced five nice runs that prep, culminating in a win. We suggested he could go close if ready, and despite the betting drift to $19 he bolted home for second, well-beaten by a hotpot fav but well clear of the rest. Placed 3 from 4 second-up, rates a chance on that, the $41 looks value.

These two ran at the same meeting as Spirit of Pluto, with EE capping off three good runs this prep with a nice win for us, and looks set to go on with it, $9 on offer and worth the EW punt.
KH hopped up to this grade and while she got back early, she made some late headway for eighth after winning the previous race. EW chance at $13.
