Support for The First Link (3 units ew) in his early races this prep proved to be well-founded as he closed with some intent to get up by a neck for us yesterday at $7/$2.90, returning to his good form at the start of his career. Now he’s got the idea, he can go on with it…
It was tough watch with Royal Fox, one of the better bets on the card IMHO after his rousing win in his previous race. Froggy let him drift to last, and with too much to make up, he finished a poor 8 lengths off. Our other in the race On My Pat did finish on well for fourth, more the come from him for sure…
Six again from the book today, be careful, three in the same race…

Former Kiwi who’s done very well in Aus,two wins and two seconds in six runs there. Noted with a gritty win in November, and resumes today after an eight month break under Harry Coffey. Good stats, he presents as the $3.60 fav, stable will have him primed for this.
