If you saw the debut of this colt 16 days ago, you could not fail to be impressed by the way he put them away at the Bool. Got out fast and gave nothing a chance, winning by 9 lengths, with the second horse Guerite coming out last week and winning at Donald and duly gapped that field. LPL back 100m today, and for the life of me I don’t know how he gets beat in this as $1.80 fav. Sell the farm.

Resumes from a 125 day spell here, with only one win under his belt in the last 20. Pops up with the odd placing, and he’s certainly fallen away from that G1 placing he had some time ago. Has won first-up, and at this distance, and has trialled up nicely for this, but will need to find some of that G1 form to figure in this at $23…
