Four winners, Hall of Famer!

Four winners, three seconds a third and a fourth yesterday…

We kicked off the winners with a Hall of Fame performance from Sonofdec, getting up to win for us at a nice $21.80!

After that it was more predictable winners, with Autumn Glow confirming her superstar status with an effortless win.

Kiwi Jimmysstar showed his usual turn of foot to win the previous race and Regal Lion obliged back in grade and distance at Mortlake.

Had a nice resuming run for fourth two months ago at Wingatui and followed up two weeks later with a dominant five length win at Gore to break maidens. Up in grade and distance a month back when up to the 1400m but finished 11th. Back to 1200m today should be more suitable and can bounce back today, $4.60 in an open betting race.

TT did nothing on resuming two months ago but with tidy second-up and distance record and back in grade three weeks later he produced a fast-finishing rails run for third, paying a massive $7.40 the place. Thought the rise to 2000m 16 days ago would suit, and he wasn’t far off in eighth but hell be better suited on the firmer surface today and the jockey upgrade to Benny Allen for the Maher stable, fav at $2.70 and the one to beat.

Better run for fourth from Tactfull a week ago, has had some success here but EW only as the $46 outsider…

Another open betting affair, with only $1 between the top five in the market. Short-course specialist CD resumed five weeks ago out in the sticks with a close third in a small field, then ran a sub-par fifth here three weeks ago but confident she bounces back here, $6 shot.
