These two look to dominate, both impressive last time out, GW resuming from a break and just ran out of condition, will improve from that. Mr Verse was slow out of the gates three weeks ago, in the back two all the way, and 400m out, the commentator had him 20 lengths off the lead. He unleashed his run from the final bend, and in Winx-esque style, he rounded them up to get up right on the line.

Ending up running a seventh and another next-time tag, and here he is. Got hung up in traffic yet again a month ago here, and really can’t afford to have that happen today both back in distance and drawn poorly. If he jumps well, he’s a real chance at $13…
Gaylord is a mate’s syndicate horse, and is on a nice streak of form this prep, and Mallyon sticks. Up in grade but the stable are bullish about his chances, $17 makes him the sleeper.
Ditterich romped in at decent odds for us a month back, this is harder and he’s drawn wide too, $71 chance.

NB’s win to clear maiden ranks last month could not have been more impressive when she went in the book. She jumped well back but produced an astonishing burst of acceleration as she eventually walked in. Back in distance 17 days ago, bit worried about the shorter distance, and up until the final bend, that seemed to be the case when she was dead last, but she produced another Winx-like finish under CJP to win by over a length, a truly amazing winner at $3.90! CJP sticks, $3.10 fav, can’t see how she doesn’t win again… Be Bardot resumes, Pikey jumps on, and she’s trialled up well, $3.80 second fav, looks the quinella…
