Yeah, that’s more like it, two cracking winners and two close seconds yesterday, not far off a big return on our win Yankee bet but got our place multi in nicely and showed a healthy profit at the end of the day…

A win finally for Choccy, my mate’s horse Le Chocolat, recently re-located by Chris Waller from his NSW to his Queensland barn. He settled in a nice position and took up the lead on the final bend, and when the challenges came, he was headed but fought back brilliantly to win as $2.90 fav.

Saltcoats was back up to a more suitable distance, and once he hit the front, it was goodnight nurse as he purred away to an easy win at $2.60.

Solid seconds for Divakara and Cassiere, and a win is on the cards soon for these two…

Two for Thursday, one a hotpot we lthink will win, the other a bit of a rough chance but can finish in the frame…

Racked up three wins from his first three runs then stepped up to Open grade with a close seventh before heading to the paddock. Resumes after a five month break after a nice trial two weeks ago for second, looks primed to win this as $2.40 fav.

The win three back was gained via his usual late finish but couldn’t repeat that at Geelong three weeks later. Flew home again four weeks ago for a close third and the small rise in distance will assist. A little hard to catch but can feature late again here if he settles closer, $12 on offer.
