Well, not so brilliant yesterday either, with only Marble Nine running a fourth…

Unbeaten in two races in late 2023, massively impressive from the back in both runs but obviously picked up a problem at some point as she returns from a huge 499 day break. Had a couple of trials, so capable of a bold return, keep safe at $9.50.

Compelling Truth, Tickleberry, Canny Hell

We’ve got three in this, very open betting race with the fav dropping in grade after winning two from two this prep.

However, the consistent CT rates a great chance as $5 second fav after a nice win for us 26 days ago at Eagle Farm, he’ll be hovering around the pace and looks a cert for the frame.

Ticklebelly is another vastly consistent animal, though she did fade late at Randwick for fifth on the soft over 1400m, also 26 days ago. Better footing and the drop to 1200m should see her in contention here, $11 looks value.

CH ran ninth in that same race at similar odds, and he too will relish the firmer footing, watch late for him at $26.
