He’d been very consistent having only missed the frame twice in eight runs and fully expected him to be competitive this T&D 21 days ago but he never emerged from the pack. Worth another chance in an open betting race as $10 third fav, watch late…

The two ins in Dec/Jan were impressive before a close-up fourth here, then went up in grade to run a close eighth in a BM82. Back in grade suits, not so sure about the drop back to 1400m but prepared to go with him again, $5 fav in another open race…

Sprinted home well to break her maiden status this T&D last month and followed up with another big run from the back over sorter for fifth 21 days ago. Back up to the mile is the key, and while up in grade she’s worth an EW punt at a generous $26… sleeper…

Missoni only one miss this prep, up in a BM82 last month, but back to this grade today and tried the 2000m for the first time.
Vindicator is a bit less consistent but pops up every so often, has won this T&D, though not in the grade…

Three in this with SIMP the main pick, won his first three in some style. Resumed from a huge 287 days spell with a nice win a Sandown before finding the jump to this grade a bit too much, but wasn’t too far off. Trialled last month, will be fitter and looks a threat as $5.50 second fav.
MN is super consistent, drops back in grade here from a nice second at MV three weeks ago, rates another great EW shot here at $7.
HOB regularly close up but doesn’t win out of turn, down in grade here, EW too at $26.
