She was a tidy third on debut just before Christmas and her trainer advised us to blackbook her, and we jumped onboard late Feb here where she dashed home for fifth in the heavy going. Thought the rise to the mile would suit 21 days ago where she didn’t emerge from the pack but prepared to give her another go here in an open event at $14.

Resumes from 106 days away, has a decent first-up record and has place 3 from 6 at the track. Won for us at big odds in November, may find it a bit wet underfoot, but EW at $8.

All Hunky Dory

Ex-HK, and he’s been a revelation since resuming from a huge 1272 day break in December with a nice second before winning his next three, all races as favourite, making it three in a row after surviving a betting drift a month back but running on well late to win at $3.40. Up in grade and distance, so a tough test for a frontrunner but I like her HK history, and it’s hard knocking a winning run. $5.50 on offer.
