Another Hall of Famer…
Two nice winners, including a Hall of Fame entry, a second, a third and a fourth from yesterday’s selections…
Top of the list was Frankel Star, who hadn’t shown much in recent runs but pushed out over longer at Mt Gambier and got the win at a juicy $14.80/$3.30.
Erin Go Bragh resumed after a promising opening prep and won with some authority, paying $4.80/$2.20, bound for bigger things based on that…
Lady Galadriel couldn’t make in three from three, running second, while Shamus and Karman Line ran third and fourth at Puke.

TBL sprinted home late in the heavy this track over the mile, hopefully the shorter 1400m won’t matter, real EW shot at $6.50.
TOE has a win and a second so far, trainer reckons he’ll be over longer and the push out today to 1400m looks suitable, and she’s also a great EW bet at $8.50.

Resumed here a month ago with a fast-finishing fifth, will be fitter for that and the rise to the mile will suit. Big jump in grade to the G3 but could show up late at $34…

His win at Riccy in November was astonishing with a huge run from last to get up. Very consistent only missed the frame twice in eight runs and he needed the resuming run a month ago, then ran third this T&D again 17 days ago. Fitter now and can figure late again as $6.50 in an open betting race.

Resumed 22 days ago having just the one run in November, a very decent effort running second after 198 days away. Repeated the dose that day and looks ready to win as $3.40 fav.

She was headed for the nursery after her last run but that has obviously not worked out. Been a while since she showed her best form but maybe her mind’s on the job today, $5.50 second fav.

Nice win on debut but struggled next two. Better run 21 days ago for third but this is a big step up, $35 on offer.

Puketiro had a super win two back then an even fourth last month. This is a jump but a chance at $21.
Aquilifer has been very consistent this prep, but again, this is a jump in grade, $24 shot.

LC up in grade last time and stepped up with a close second at Caulfield a month ago at the $31 mark. Jaylah jumps on, back in grade, goes well at track, distance and going, $14 makes her a nice EW bet.
BR broke a spell without a win by getting up right on the line this T&D. Frontrunner suited this track but this is step up, $15 on offer.

Moonee Valley R9
Jimmy produced an astonishing win from the back at Caulfield a month ago to win the Oakleigh Plate, can’t afford to get that far adrift round the Valley but they’ll know that, so if he settles closer he’ll be hard to stop in this as the $3 fav.
RB deserves some attention as a sleeper in this at $18. Jumps in grade but can place if he can muster early…

An unbeaten fav hard to get past in this, but Marble Nine ran a nice third here 14 days ago, might feel the pinch late, $15 on offer.
