Two nice winners…
Couple of nice winners from our seven yesterday…
Advance to Jaffa (5 units ew) was produced beautifully to win at $7, while Bold Type (8 unit win) continued his run of super form to win at $4.40.
A second for Bifrost and a fourth for Kalahari Heart completed a nice day for us…
A huge sixteen from the book today, lot’s of chances to fill the account before we hit the weekend!!

Missed out on a resuming run with the recent Otaki abandonment. He’s been hampered by needing a couple of spells, and resumes today having just the one run in November, a very decent effort running second after 198 days away. Has talent, and if he’s right, he’ll take some beating, $2.70 fav.

BR returned from a 157 day spell a month ago, he’s a perennial frontrunner who was struggling to finish off his races last prep. Has the talent, and he gave them something to chase down at Moe but got collared late, earning a next-time tag. Tried to lead all the way 8 days ago at Pak but weakened late. Fitter and could make the frame at $9.
JJ resuming from a 4 month break, back in grade and has won here and first-up, might need the run though, $16.

My mate owns a leg, and he produced a devastating turn of hoof at Yarra three weeks ago and spanked ‘em by 9 lengths. Up a touch to the mile, trainer’s very keen again, gets D Lane up top and his main rival scratched this morning, so he’s the $2 fav in a four horse field. Frontrunner at the Valley? Yes please!

Gritty as you like when noted winning at Bendigo 19 days ago, she’s progressing through the grades well with two wins this prep and goes up another level and up to the 2040m. All you can do is win, and Jye sticks, he’ll cuddle here up just off the pace and save something for the final 400m, $3.20 fav.

She bled on Boxing Day and we suggested she could bounce back and she certainly a month ago with a powerful finish to win with something in hand at Wagga. Fancied she could follow that up 20 days ago back in grade at Randwick, but despite being close to the pace, as usual, she faded late over the 1200m. She’ll relish being back to the 955m dash today, where she’s 8:4-1, she’ll be on-speed and can launch from the barrier 3 to get close on the pace, where she’ll be hard to peg back. Back in grade somewhat, the bonus is H Coffey up top, $7 looks great EW value!

Very dominant when winning on debut in Sept 2023 but has had a couple of breaks in between times and the four resuming runs were a bit plain, but he improved out of sight 28 days ago here with a dominant win from the front and was never headed as he won by nearly three lengths at nice odds for us. Pushes out to the mile, can go on with it as $2.80 fav.
