Four out of five…
Four of our five tips produced a dividend yesterday, some late support for Global Currency and Vistown as they ran second and fourth at Taupo yesterday, despite neither having much in the way of form on the firm ground, while Mister Goldie also found some support, running fourth.
Ditterich up in grade and couldn’t quite see it out, but it was an encouraging third at a nice $3.70 the place, we’ve got an eye on him…

Debut ride was unlucky as he got blocked for a run, then ran a close third before a break then a sixth at Ballarat. Resumes here, has trialled, and presents as the $2 fav, should win this.

Will have benefited from the resuming run 16 days ago and will be fitter for it. T&Ds are sound, as is his second-up record and he relishes top of the ground conditions. Rate him a real chance in this small field at $7.

He was huge on resuming in early May at the Bool when sent out a big odds and shot home for second earning a next-time sticker, however he ran an ordinary race at Geelong for sixth. We were happy to forgive that run as he cleaned them out at Donald in his next run in June from a dominating position before he headed to the paddock. Two runs resuming have been a bit plain but will be fitter the longer distance will suit and F Kersley jumps back on. Might need a bit of give in the ground but rates an EW chance in an even betting race, $7 on offer.

Rockhampton R6
Graysong just behind in the betting at $5.50, and was noted with two searing wins in August last year before heading to the paddock for four months. Resumed racing up in grade and not too far off but without threatening before another stint away. Three runs this prep have been good, including a win 12 days ago here when gave ‘em a start and a bath to get up for us at $5. He’s the $3.60 fav here, and a repeat of that should see him win this.

A win at the picnics at Bong Bong was followed by a close ninth at Goulburn 11 days ago, rates an outside chance at $6 in a small field.

A new entry in the blackbook 13 days ago, he was well-supported this T&D and gave them an absolute beating by almost 5 lengths, never heading and won with a leg in the air. Obviously up in grade but the manner of that win suggests he can progress, making the $4.40 a great bet, albeit in a very open betting race…

MS produced an eye-catching late run for fourth here resuming 13 days ago and has super second-up stats (4:2-1). Would prefer over a bit longer but she’s 4:1-2 at the 1200m, and if they can settle her a bit closer in the run she can get a piece of this at $9.50.
Tydeus ran two seconds and two fourth this at this track, and not far away in any of them, and dropped back massively in grade here 13 days ago and we fully expected him to feature but he unaccountably ran last. Back to the BM78, $10 in a very open betting event, got to include him EW in this.
