Adolphus (10 unit win) was resuming after an impressive opening prep and duly obliged for us at a very nice $4.60, doubt we’ll see that price again for some time…
Places for Autumn Storm ($1.10), Flattered ($1.70), Effortkat ($3.20) and fourths for Tydeus and Miss Devine.

Ellerslie R5
Crocetti resumed at Counties 14 days ago with a close fourth and sports great stats for this, and is unbeaten at this distance. The one to beat today as $2 fav.
Waitak finished one place ahead in that race, racing consistently and gets the in-form Masa onboard, should be thereabouts at $9.50.

She was tough late October at Te Aroha to break maidens and provides some value here at $21, keep safe.

Trentham R7
NZ’s version of Kattegat goes here and is in fine form this prep, winning at Ellerslie six weeks ago. First time at this track but other stats are super, must be included, $4.80 co-fav at the mo.
Enrico has been close up in both runs and is an improver, capable of featuring here at $10.
Inmyshadow not doing enough, $21.

The fav looks stitched on here but our three all have place claims.
At $11 here, POA produced a better run for second three weeks ago, Ladies Man is the same odds and has been close up in his last two, and Mali Ston has been close in four out of five runs this prep, $26 here.

GC finished well for fourth on resuming a month ago then never featured at Counties 14 days ago, but will be fitter and can feature in this, $9.50 on offer.
FB didn’t do much 9 days ago at Otaki but the previous three runs had merit, could make the frame at $26.

Ballarat R9
Very open race for the Ballarat Cup, BS is $6.50 second fav and is racing consistently, only missing the frame in his first run this prep. Girst time at this track but has had success at the distance, grade, going and a third under Jaylah. Easy EW in this.
BC has done little in recent runs, needs to lift, $21.

Like this mare’s chances today, she’s improved with every run this time in, has a decent finish so the push out to 1500m will suit, doesn’t want it too wet though, a real chance at $8.

She’ll have taken a lot of benefit from those two runs back, flashing home late 14 days ago at Kembla and the jump to 1800m will suit, $5 in on open betting race.
