A very nice winner…

We suspected Ersa (5 units ew) might be ready to resume after showing superb form last prep, and the drop back from G1 and G3 racing really showed as she cruised up in the last 200m to win nicely for us at $5.50/$1/.90, more to come we feel…

Social Conscience (5 units ew) came in for some fierce support with D Lane taking the ride, but settled back and only plodded home for third at $1.40.

He was huge on resuming in early May at the Bool when sent out a big odds and shot home for second earning a next-time sticker, however he ran an ordinary race at Geelong for sixth. We were happy to forgive that run as he cleaned them out at Donald in his next run in June from a dominating position before he headed to the paddock. Resumed 21 days ago after 145 days, but he barely featured, and will have benefited from the run. J Mott hops on, and well prepared to give him another chance at $19…

CD resumes from a 194 day break, and has a touch of talent. Wiggins hops on, she’s $2.50 early fav and with those stats should prove hard to beat if she’s anywhere near fit…

Tantrums is ex-NZ and ran second out in the sticks 19 days ago, an improvement on previous form, and only one win in 25 makes her hard to follow, but keeping safe EW at $23.
