A first, a second and a third yesterday…
Briasa (10 unit win) was our best bet, and he duly trotted up as $1.40 fav, a horse going places…
Berkeley Square simply got too far back, and while he outpaced the rest on the run in, he wasn’t gonna catch the winner, but paid $2.40 the place.
Really fancied Drift Net on resumption, especially as she’d been trialling impressively, but she could only manage a third, paying $1.00, next time looks promising though…
It’s a rare day off today, with nothing from the book, save your pennies for tomorrow…
