Got way too far back on resuming but produced his usual late flourish to get within 2.3 lengths of the winner here, also 14 days ago. We suggested the 1400m would be a bit short, so the mile will suit today. Noonan jumps on, will be fitter for the run, watch for him late again, $8 shot.
