A first a second and a third from our four tips yesterday, and Bringyaticket (10 unit win) provided a thrilling win with his trademark finish.
Regular jock Ashley Butler had him perched handily in midfield and as they came round the final bend he just shuffled him into the gap and he showed a devastating change of gears to cruise home for us at $4.30, to the obvious delight on Ash’s face as he saluted!
Later at the meeting, Such A Whit (3 units ew) almost stole the show, drifting out to $51, getting up into second through the run and only failing by a head to pick up the winner in a driving finish, paying a very juicy $7.50 the place.
Kool Bird (3 units ew) had been untested on heavy ground but ran on into third for us, paying $2.20.
Just the two on TGIF, chance to pick up some bankroll for the weekend with an EW double…

Last win was in July last year, but take note that it was here on the Ballarat Synthetic, and he has outstanding stats here (9:3-5). Wasn’t far off in an improved run for third 25 days ago here, but will need to be handier in the run today dropping back to the 1000m. Gets the apprentice to offset top weight, third fav at $4.40, EW shot in this.

She didn’t handle the heavy three back and was better suited on soft at his last two, finishing fast from last for third and fifth with eye-catching late runs. Bayliss sticks, the 1400m suits, and he looks a solid EW punt at a generous $17 here, the real sleeper in this open betting race, he’ll be descending late…
