The Rumours were true!
Bang on with our winner yesterday.
We were confident that Rumours Abound (10 unit win) would be fitter after her resuming run, and despite the carpark draw, if she made the lead she’d be hard to catch, and that was exactly the case as she won with a leg in the air by nearly 5 lengths at $1.60 ($2.00) if you got on early!
Fiorente Spritz was in it a for a long way, and at one point looked the likely winner, but she faded on the run-in to run a close fourth, not a bad effort up in grade and distance, we feel there’s a win coming shortly…
We were keen on Sisserou’s chances on resuming, and he too was in it for a long way before condition gave out and he ran a long last. He’ll be at bigger odds next time out, and worth the wait we feel…
Four for Tuesday, and some outrageous outsiders from the book, we suggest boxing them up in a place or first four Yank…

He’s done very little in recent runs, last win was in July last year, but take note that it was here on the Ballarat Synthetic, and he has outstanding stats for this T&D. Track is 8:3-4, distance is 12:2-2 and T&D combined is 3:1-2. He’s won in this class and under this jockey, so he rates as today’s sleeper at $8 in an very even betting race.
