Three today from the book, two of which are real live-wires, the third a sleeper at $71, all at Dubbo and worthy of including in your late qadi combos there…

CT went in the book Jan last year when he spanked a big field here as an odds-on fav after a close second here the previous month. Obviously had some issues as he ran near-last at Tamworth later in the month and has taken 13 months to resume. Has tuned up with a couple of nice placings as $3.50 fav, and based on that he’s a real winning shot in this…

Couture was a big winner for us ($15) at Coonamble in Nov 22, and she followed up with a couple of decent runs for placings in the higher grade before spelling for 10 months. Just the one run last prep at big odds in October before another 3 month break, no first-up form of any note, so we’re taking her very much on trust here, down in grade and distance from her preferred mile, so may just need this at $71, but be wary, there is talent there… possible sleeper…

RAGING RUSH

We fancied him to win on resuming as fav last month, especially around his first-up figures, but just needed the run, and we marked him down as a next-timer. Jockey sticks, his second-up form is excellent (3:2-0) and worth following up as $4 second fav here.
