One winner, two thirds… again…
A dominant win by Matriarch Rose (10 unit win, $2.10) was the feature of yesterday’s tips, as we spruiked her up over the longer trip after her previous big finish.
Couple of thirds on Just Johnno (5 units ew, $2.00) and Russley Crown ($1.30).
We have a one-hit wonder today, and a curious one at that…

This fella’s got some early support, sitting around the $4 mark as second fav, and to be honest, I don’t know why… Noted running home well on debut in August two years ago then winning next time out but that win is his lone finish in the frame in 20 runs! Based on that, it’s hard to recommend him but someone must know something, maybe they’ve fitted afterburners on him…
He’s today’s one-hit wonder, and we have had some success previously with these, but tread carefully here…
