Two more Hall of Famers!
The tally yesterday was two winners, two seconds, six thirds and four fourths…
We had to wait till the last at Riccy for Nortibutnice (8 unit win) but she rewarded us with a classy win paying $2.90. We also tipped the quinella with Watch Out (10 units) which paid $4.50.
The other winner was Supido Beauty (10 unit win) who was back in grade and strolled in at $1.80.
The tough watch of the day was Antino, looked all over the winner but the gap on the fence closed, the jockey just about picked him up to try and find some air, and he flashed home for fourth, which didn’t help us at all… Will win next time…
Some fabulous place odds, El Patroness running third paying $18 the place and Super Pursuit also running third paying $8.40.
Other places were Ladies Man ($2.40), Badgeringdawitness ($3.40), Cause For Concern ($2.70), Star of Chaos ($1.10), Festival Prince ($2.00), Ruler Rocket ($1.50).
Sixteen from the book on a busier than usual Sunday…

AVALENE, LITTLE JOE
Te Rapa, 8
Avalene has won three of her last four for us. Has won at this range but might be a bit short for her. Won a trial over 1150m last month, can’t rule her out, $13 on offer.
Little Joe gets Smiling Joe onboard, needed the resuming run 18 days ago and could run a place here at $23.
BET: Avalene 4 units ew, LJ 2 units ew, exotics?
JOHNY JOHNY, NOT GUILTY, TIGHTLIGN
Te Rapa, 9
It’s generally win or nowhere for JJ, but 8 wins from 15 is impressive. 4 wins from 6 first up, good form on soft and at this distance, backable at $8. NG win brilliantly in Feb and followed up with a couple of close placings, also a chance at $8. Tightlign resumes, may need the run, his second up form is good, $41 shot.

SEE YOUR POINT
Seymour, 6
Noted in Feb, bolted in by 8 lengths at Terang before heading to the paddock for 3 months. Resumed with one run, dead last at Bendigo before another 2 month spell, and resumed at the Bool two weeks ago with a much-improved fifth. One of his wins came at the distance B Rawiller hops on, and worth an EW punt at $13…

GRAYSONG, REAL GUN
Seymour, 7
Graysong was brilliant at Pak 3 weeks ago, racing back and swept past them to win by nearly 5 lengths. Up in grade but progressing well this prep, Newitt jumps on, and he’s capable of beating this resuming fav. $3.10 on offer
Despite his lack of recent form, we noted RG’s good stats over the distance and drop in grade last time out. He got up on the pace and looked the winner for a long way until he got collared inside the last 100m by the fav, beaten a long neck, but paying a fabulous $10.60 the place. The shorter 1100m today might suit, real EW shot at $34.
BET: GS 10 unit win, RG 3 units ew, could spice up the exotics…
TYDEUS
