Nice winner…
A gritty win from Sweysive (4 units ew) was the highlight yesterday at $9.10/$2.30, and heading the $610 trifecta which we snaffled part of.
Prepare For Change (3 units ew) ran on for second at $2.10.
Fourths for Winning Aces and our watch horse in Le Chocolat, who raced a bit keen and green for a creditable debut run. He’s marked down for next time…

Two runs this prep have merit, the wide draw will test and he jumps to 2200m for the first time in a while, but still rates an EW shot if he handles the heavy. $9 shot.

Mixing his form a touch this prep, back up to the 2200m too where he has had some success and he prefers the heavy, so another with an EW chance, $19 on offer.

VINDICATOR, ENOUGH SAID

Vindicator noted with a shocking ride from the jockey back in Jan after being left far too much to do and flying home for third. Repeat that in Feb when running fourth from dead last, We hoped that the jockey had learned from that (she did), and the rise to the mile worked as predicted and he gave them a lesson. Up in grade, but he wins again for me, take the $3.80/$1.90 on offer on 365 and belt him EW. ES was plain on resuming, went in the book a year ago tomorrow with a massive run from last and followed that up with a couple of placings for us, followed by a couple of ordinary runs and a couple of sessions in the paddock. Down in grade for this, may spice up the exotics…
