Two places, three fourths…
Well, a series of frustrating results yesterday, none more so than our Sell-the-farm pick in Stokedown. Having been denied a run last time out by getting blocked in, and marked as next-time, he gets dropped out the back and screamed home when it was all too late for third. Definitely stays in the book, but let’s hope for a more judicious ride next time…
Other than that, Santero rans second at $1.60, with three others, Eye Pea Oh, Indifference and Miss Miduki running fourths…

Wagga, 7
She’d only missed the frame once in eight runs prior to this prep, but has gone round at big odds in her last two, though not too far off. Out to the 1300m this time, and worth another EW shot at $7.

BIFROST. SET THE SAILS, TANTRUMS
Pakenham, 4
Couple of ex-Kiwis in this… Bifrost has been running in stronger than this, and won his last attempt in BM64 for us. Gets back but capable of a good finish, $15. The Aussie debut run of Tantrums caught the eye last month at Wangaratta, finishing well enough to be marked as next-time, and here he is at $12. Set The Sails returns from a 10 month spell, and was tracking along nicely before that, and gets winning jock D Lane onboard as second fav at $3.90, chance if he’s ready.
BET: Can back them all at 3 units ew, but don’t ignore the exotics!

Albany, 5
Will need to up his game, last win was March last year for us here at an outrageous $41. Paying $19 at the mo, hard to catch but worth an interest bet…
