Laneway Flirting (5 units ew) got us off to a blistering start, fulfilling previous promise by bolting home at $5.00/$2.00.
Ladies Man (5 units ew) bounced back to get up late in the Technology at Trentham, paying $4.75/$1.90.
And Mariamia (2 unit win) defied the favs to get up at $8.50.
Places went to Asathought ($2.00), Fighting Arrow ($2.20), Rioyuki ($3.00), and King Ratel ($5.20).

Noted bolting home in November at Newcastle at big odds, then did little in the next two before getting up for us 3 weeks ago at $8.50 with a late burst. Weir sticks up top, watch for him late in this as the $2.30 fav.

Drops back to a grade she’s won in before but steps back up to the 1400m. On-pacer who will need to save something up for the finish, $5 at the mo.
