Race 5: SAMIAM SEUSSIE is in great form with two wins and a second for us in recent runs. Came with a nicELy timed run to beat Funtonic last time out at Ellerslie, steps up to G3 today and looks at cert place at least at $5.
BET: 5 units ew, if the money comes 8 unit win
Race 6: SHAMUS racked up four from four before running third at Te Rapa alst time out. Drops back to a more suitable mile today in a race between three, and can win this at $4.20

Race 8: BELLATRIX BLACK was impressive two weeks back, and has started her career in fine style. The step up to 2400m should suit, and she’s a threat at $10 even up in grade… In the same race is ASPEN COLORADO , impressive two back breaking maidens, then a reasonable fourth to today’s fav. Place chance at $12…
BET: 3 units ew both, exotics?
Race 9: BEADMAN finally got up for us on January but hasn’t been going well enough since to threaten this lot. Interest bet only at $31…

Race 3: Not sure anything beats the amazing YONCE , $1.10 is better than the bank if suppose…

Race 4: TEEWATERS has run two thirds for us (SP $31 and $17) since a win over Tigertiger in September, the last one at G1 behind Hitotsu. He’s being aimed at the SA Derby by all accounts, the $7 here looks very generous indeed, I like him…

Race 6: Zaaki and Inspirational Girl seem the two main protagonists here, we have I’M THUNDERSTRUCK and PINSTRIPED and these can be included in your exotics.

Race 7: BERMADEZ is one of my fav blackbookers, and Olly produced a superb ride on him here two weeks ago to win at $4 for us over Rose Quartz. Steps back up to the mile today (he’s a t&d winner here previously) and this looks like a race in two here, with Gentleman Roy the other obvious contender. Both got great stats for this, but we stick with our boy at $3.60

Race 8: DESERT ICON cost me last time out and faces Defibrillate again at slightly better weights. Can atone today at around $350.

Race 4: TWICE ON SUNDAY produced a great finish to win at Orange in December and has run some nice places for us since, the last one a close second at SP $21. Don’t discount today at $16, this front-running mare is a chance…

Race 7: BANKERS CHOICE and HILAL in this one… Former Kiwi BC debuted at Flem two weeks back and ran a decent race behind Inspirational Girl and Zaaki. Up in grade but an ew shot at $16. Hilal has run a couple of places for us recently, Pikey sticks today and he too can figure in this.

Race 8: DAUMIER got up at Caulfield for us 3 weeks back at a juicy $21, he’s the same price today. SEBONACK wasn’t that far behind him in fourth in that race after a classy win on debut, $19 today. SHE’S EXTREME produced a big finish a week ago and can on with it, $7 on offer for her…

Race 4: LONADO has her hoof on the till but has had trouble finding at the sharp end of the contest. $2.30 fav today, another chance to break that run of placings…

Race 2: FESTIVAL PRINCE the obvious winner here at $2.60 on the back of five straight. SAVVY LAD is a long time between drinks and returns here today after a 7 month break. Gave us two wins in a row this time last year at Cranbourne, but has been ordinary since. Drops back to 1200m today, where he’s been place 2/2, will need to be on-pace to figure at $26…

Race 4: TAMILAIDE has obliged in the last three for us, steps up in grade and distance but $4/$1.90 has him backable each way at the top of the book.

Race 8: AHOOSHU and ENTERPRISE POMME contest this one, and both have given us consistent wins and placings. Both have nice stats for this, Ahooshu currently $31, EP $7…

MORPHETTVILLE
Race 5: SMOKIN’ VAL returns after a 4 month break, she signed off with a win for us at the Parks at $5.50 in November. Good record over the distance and first up, can figure in this small field at $5…

Race 8: RUSTY HALO gave us a couple of thrilling wins, back in August, one at $15, one at $6.50. Dropped off since and needed the run first up, can place today back at his fav distance. $10 on offer
